Its Ceramic Grey, light weight seats, 700W, full piano black etc

I presume that AML use the plinth, so that the number plate position then complies with some kind of regulation.

I and many others have removed the plinth, and then fitted the number plate using adhesive pads, to the body below the grille.

It does look better, because the whole traditional grille is visible in its entirety. Now that we have the Rapide S, with a number plate fixed to the grille, perhaps that opinion is now supposed to be 'so yesterday'. wink

Jon, I wasn't selling anything. Neither did I say anything was wrong with the paint. You can't tell from the photos anyway. I merely said to look after it and keep it protected, as its a lovely car.

Why does it actually have a number plate plinth? Is it easy to remove?
