Deactivating motion sensor alarm with ECU

Hi,
I am going to be taking my DBS on the cross channel ferry for the first time this weekend. Does anyone know if there is a way to lock the car with the ECU but not have the alarm motion sensor activated?

Yes, open drivers door and there is a button on the panel just above the fuel release. Press within 60 seconds of taking ECU out and then lock car as normal
