Well i noticed some very minor paint bubbles on the n/s door handle.

I purchased the car 6 months ago from an Aston Martin Dealer, it is 6 years old with 11k on the clock.

I spoke to the selling dealer who requested some photographs to send to the factory.
They came back with £250 contribution leaving me £390 + VAT. Not happy, I discussed this with the centre again who agreed a furter contribution leaving me to pay £100 + Vat.

Still not overly happy but have agreed to pay it, Ive got a good relationship with the dealership so dont want to kick up too much of a fuss as i know down the line they will help me out somewhere.

They've just been to pick it up, delivering it back tomorrow afternoon...

Ill keep you informed. Thought a few people might be interested to know my experience

Have you also done a thorough check on the rest of the car? After my doors were done, I found some bubbling under the bonnet and as AM were generous enough to pay 100% on my car I asked them to fix that too.

i have checked around and cant see anything so fingers crossed its just that,

I have thoroughly checked all the common places, and do regularly, hense noticing this tiny bit, on the passenger side it could very easly be missed. Im sure most people wouldnt bother getting it looked at but.. well perfection haha

If they really valued your custom they would have waived this trivial amount.

Hope the car comes back looking perfect. smile

we have discussed doing something with the price of the service due end of July, so overall it wont have cost too much to sort and i have the peice of mind that its all been sorted.

Today is glorious too, due to come back later on so i can give it a good inspection in the sunshine and have it back in all its glory for the weekend.

Ready for LeMans in a few weeks biggrin

I only cleaned mine this week after the wales run.

Also tried to use the chipex!! Found an old Jockman thread which told me to use a cocktail stick which works better smile

Jockman i'm surprised you dont get the engine lifted out of the car and take that down to get serviced, might be cheaper that way?? hehe
