V8 Vantage stereo?
Discussion
You can get the iPod connection kit fitted, it works reasonably well, but you might need a chain of adapters, depending on your phone.
I have the original iPod kit in my 2008 N400, and I have to use a Scosche PowerPort charge voltage adapter, and a Dock to Lightning (iPhone 5) connector adapter.
I think the newer iPod kit doesn't require the Scosche.
Not a problem, as it's all hidden in the armrest, but might bug you.

Just wondering if there is a way to connect an iphone to the V8 Vantage's stereo?
When you say 'iphone', do you mean for music or phonecalls?I'm currently using a radio transceiver for the music (but my car already has bluetooth installed). However, there is a slightly more 'plumbed in' version available:

This uses a combination of an ipod lead for the music (the ipod basically becomes another CD in the multichanger) and a Parrot system for phonecalls.
I have the Aston Martin iPod upgrade installed in my 2007 V8 Vantage. The iPod cable that comes with it will charge newer iPods and iPhones without an adaptor. Obviously you would need an adaptor for an iPhone 5. However, I think the best option is to use an actual iPod for music since the connector is in the glove box and a simple cigarette lighter adaptor to charge the iPhone.

I've just had the iPod adapter (Denison Gateway) plumbed in by James @ Paralight today. Completely seamless installation and well recommended.
I've used FM transmitters in the past and to be honest they aren't up to much. With this Denison kit the iPod is plumbed directly into the head unit on the CD changer feed so the quality is as good as you're going to get. You can control the iPod from the head unit, the only limitations being the head unit itself.
If you want to use an iPhone for calls then the Bluetooth adapter is your answer. Again, James is your man.
