So I bought myself a nice indoor car cover to protect the V8V from dust etc.

I have a worry though: how will it react to the still hot exhausts/brakes after a drive ... should I maybe not put it on straight away? Imagine if it goes up in flames!!! yikes The garage is not directly at my house though so I don't want to gave to go back there later just to put the cover on...

Even though I bought the cover in the US there seems to be no warning label on it or anything - they should be made out of a flame-retardent material, RIGHT ?!? confused

any thoughts?

Can't see a problem TBH. Think about it, as soon as the engine is switched off the car can only get cooler.

My cover says do not fit until the car has cooled down. It is the one supplied by the AMOC and it wasn't cheap. Common sense say's don't put it on a hot car!

Wow - that's a wacky car in the background. How do they get such a big back on a small front?
