So there I was sitting in the Aston waiting for my wife to arrive at the hotel so we could go and have a drink.

A car pulls in and this very nice lady strolls over, camera in hand followed by her young son. She asked if it was ok to take some pictures of her son next to the car. Of course I said it was absolutely fine and I even got out and let the boy sit in the drivers seat so she could take a picture of him at the wheel.

I've only owned the car 2 weeks and this coupled with a stranger coming up to me at the petrol station is amazing. I'm so not used to my car attracting so much attention.

I assume most of this forum members can relate?

Ha, great reply. You're obviously the star then - what's the secret?

Indeed it's happened to me twice - first time was a group of local yoof when I was parked in a car park. Thought they were going to be a problem at first but they wanted pics of the car thankfully.

Second was a man from Eastern Europe who wanted a pic of him and the car for his family. They probably believe it's his now and worth coming to the UK !

They really do attract attention in a good way!

I had an old woman (pensioner) ask me to rev the car so she could hear the noise it makes!

Turns out her late husband had on old DB and she loved them. ( wish I got some twentysomethings hassling me like this!)

Lol. One of the reasons I moved to ferrari.. Having old ladies fling their big pants at you just isn't sexy.
