How to open the glove box manually - Aston DB9?

Hello,

The previous owner left me an empty hole instead of a switch to open the glove box! Can anyone tell me if it is possible to open it manually?

Open passenger door, remove the rubber grommet/ duct that transfers heater air to the door vent. If you peer in to the hole (probably need a mirror and a torch), you should see a white plastic ring pull(same as the manual fuel release).
Push forward and the glove box should open. You will probably need a small screwdriver or bent wire to hook the release.
