Picked up my vantage yesterday and so pleased with it, metallic black with black leather and red stitching, piano black inserts, red callipers (which add 10BHP). I changed from a TVR Tamora which was great but am really appreciating the quality and refinement of the Aston. Engine sounds fantastic, someone already removed fuse 22!

The customer service and preparation of the car was excellent also, so big thanks to David at Infiniti Reading for a job well done!

Looking forward to sharing my ownership experience and getting tips and advice from PH forum!

Well done that man. You will be the first person a dealership has detailed a car for! At best they only slap some autoglym on their cars, unless you paid extra for them to apply a protective coating?

2 cylinders missing, yep the v6 plate came with the car, will be searching for something more appropriate..

TVR traitor lol, very different cars and not comparable (I'm being diplomatic), TVR was much faster however.

In a straight line, my 4.0 Tuscan was a brute... but point to point, my DB9 is comfortably faster scratchchin

My Marcos had the legs of the TVR anyway based on power to weight.

Saw a lovely Nightfire red Tuscan on the M6 Toll yesterday with me in the Morgan. 0-60 pulling away from the toll booths there might not be much in it, but after that... biglaugh

Agreed, there's not much would live with the Tamora on acceleration but it frightened the hell out of me when corners were involved and the power delivery is so frantic as you have to really rev the engine. Vantage is much more fun and relaxed to drive fast, or just drive - period!

I think you were spotted this very morning drivingdriving past my hovel at about 7.30am,car looked great and quite majestic amongst the hoards of commuting
Mondeo's and assorted Rep Mobiles.

Ironic that the 1st outstanding car of the day to pass the pile was an Aston on the day I go to collect my new AM.

Are you near to Bourne?,it would be good to know I have another enthusiastic PHer in the area. thumbup

Small world Eh? Yes I live in Bourne, so you'll have seen me heading south on A15, I passed a DBS at Baston too! let me know when you've got the new car and we can get together and have a closer look at them both, very happy with mine :-)

Hi Lee,

Nice one will do,now I've seen that DBS around as well and believe it to live in Greatford.

We seem to have a few Astons around locally but to my knowledge not many are active on this forum sadly.

Catch you later.thumbup
