Karl is liked and respected around here.

You, on the other hand, should probably go and 'do one' elsewhere.

Couldn't agree more with Bravo73.
A bit of respect, politeness and thought before posting on this forum would
Probably have produced a more positive response to the original enquiry.

People need to take a few chill pills on here. First post must a few commas and full stops. 2nd and 3rd I read as light hearted jest. Then it's just simply rude.

This is an open forum, not some private club and it looks way too easy to offend a vocal minority.

To the OP - sorry no idea but changing your cars PCD seems a bit extreme. I have the Bamford Rose big brakes on my DB9 and they work really well.

I do wonder why some people are so obsessed with people's use of the English language and grammar on here, it's an internet forum where people can use text-style speaking or abbreviations (or whatever they want to be fair), I don't think people are trying to pass an English exam here. Some people may not even be English so it's presumptuous to think everyone on here is totally fluent in our language.

ha! Eminem's 'the real slim-shady' was my inspiration for the name actually, have used it for years (since, circa 2000?), my surname is Stimson, so thought i'd change it up a little! wink

I just thought how offensive and disgusting. The original poster may well be dislexic or something similar.
Or he may not be, and may just have been lazy typing on his phone. He's certainly aggressive, needlessly so, especially when asking for help. Why are you so offended on his behalf? Genuine question.

As to 'offensive and disgusting'. Really? Have you any idea of the kinds of thing going on elsewhere in the world? Some perspective would be good Jamie, that's all smile

Wow! And I thought I was supposed to be the sensitive forum member from the US. biggrin

FWIW: I thought the OP's response was actually funny, so no offense was taken.

P.S. Most people here probably don't know this, but English is not my first language.

What a palaver !
I find it interesting to note that this appears to be a first post on PH for captainjamie, somewhat strange for a first post.
However i assume the captain is posting for the best of altruistic reasons.
I can see this from both sides.
It can be irritating to read a post with poor spelling and lack of punctuation (unless there is a condition that is beyond the poster's control).
On the other hand it also comes across as a little high-handed to post just to criticise even in jest.
What interests me is this social media explosion where strangers often make assumptions and interact quite intimately without any real knowledge of the other person.
I find it fascinating how quickly this medium has spread.

Apologies to Jamie looked at his profile and it appeared to me as a first post.
