The green one next to it is the convertible,I've got some pictures on my camera from today but it's not to my taste.

Gorgeous, both of them. You know you are looking at Italian design, don't you.

I quite liked them. Unusual and certainly quite a different look to the DB9 and DBS they were based on. Presumably AM just supplied a complete VH platform minus the panels?

Not sure why though but this keeps coming to mind .... maybe too much Kensington sun!

Why do you assume Aston Martin owners like everything an Italian design studio produces? As your profile says you know a bit about car design it seems an odd comment to make.

Take the best looking modern Aston. Add some Italian flair and design and you get....

hurl

What is the point? DBS discontinued and Zagato had already proved with the Vantage that they can't design a good looking car.

Not only that but the cars, whilst having the approval and collaboration of AM, were designed by the Zagato team for two car collectors ....

Well on that point I will disagree with you and question your judgment as a designer. The V8Vantage alone is a design classic so wavey

Simply superb. Future Pebble Beach winner for sure. This would make a great Lagonda!

He said a design classic.

What does Top Gear have to do with that?

Did you work with TVR in the past? Your profile photo looks like you either did or follow their design thoughts.

It does have that look about it! Very 70's, gives me a bit of Thunderbirds nostalgia for some reason. smile

I'm not an expert on either. As you infer, beauty is the eye of the beholder and to my untrained eye , the car in your profile picture does not fit my eye.
