From early reports it sound like the event at Kensington Gardens lived up to expectations.

As an alternative Area 4 of the AMOC put on a similar event at Classics at the Castle (Sherborne) today.

Some amazing cars on display including the 1922 Strasbourg GP car, 1923 Halford Special GP car, 1929 LM3 ex works Le Mans car, 1936 2 litre Speed model (ex Spa Grand Prix) car, 1950 DB2 ex works Le Mans Team car, 1953 DB2/4 ex Angela Brown (David Brown's daughter) Convertible through all the models up to a stunning 2011 DBS Carbon edition and new Vantage V8 Roadster (N420 limited edition).

For Bond fans an extra treat was the actual Goldfinger Rolls Royce used in the film smile

Well, I didn't expect such an overwhelming response confused

Perhaps I should have included "red trousers" in the thread title hehe

Hi Tim,

Never saw it in the thread titles - only look at the first page smile

Looks like a great day out - but you should have been up at KP - just a staggering array of Astons on display. They reckon around 550! which would have surprised me having wandered around Perks Field. See you Saturday up at Silverstone - don't be late!!!!!

Me also. I'm surprised by the number of Astons. You would have thought they were all at KP, but apparently not. Looks like another great show.
