Locktons, Admiral and google are usually recommended.

Have you tried a search? I'm sure that you won't be surprised to hear that this topic comes up lots.

Locktons prices are good, seem helpful, but never had to claim.

I was with Elephant a few years ago, did have to claim, and I would never use them again, no matter how cheap they were.

Hi,

I am a new owner so joined the Aston Martins Owners Club and took advantage of the Locktons discount, not that was the main reason.

It is underwritten by Chubb and looking at the T & C's they do not hide facts like other cheaper insurance does.

Recently had to make a claim on my Range Rover and was horrified to find out that if I did not go with one of their 2 repair centres in Dorset (Their Network) I may have to pay any difference required to complete the repair.

More worrying was the point that they did not have to use OEM Parts, that they could use second-hand parts and a non manufacturer approved repair centre.

My fault as I did not read this when I took out the insurance with Swift Cover as they were the cheapest at the time, however lesson learnt and now I fully read the T & C's and ask the questions...

Fortunately for me the Westover Body Repair Centre in Poole knew how to 'work' with Swift Cover as originally they knocked me back when I told hem who I was insured with as from their experience with them they can't do the job at the hourly rate that Swift Cover require, as Westover Service my Range Rover they really did look after me, I can't recommend the highly enough!

I have now insured my Aston, Range Rover and TVR with them, all of which are now cheaper than what I was paying!

Regards

Steve
