I dropped in Murray Aston Martin in Edinburgh at lunchtime today to pick up a new set of wipers. The screech of the old ones as they make their way across the screen had become rather trying.

Firstly being welcomed by name by Service Advisor Kenny Paterson, who I'd only met for a few minutes as I first picked my car up in May, was a nice touch, and we barely had time for a few minutes chat before the parts arrived.

The great customer serviced continued when Kenny offered to have the wipers fitted, and in no time a mechanic came by, picked up the wipers and fitted them at no charge. I know this is not even a half-spanner job, but it saved me the bother, and of course means I'll have no hesitation in going back to Murray's when the to e comes to spend a bit more on keeping the car in tip top shape.

Thanks again Kenny - much appreciated. Now, about that Black V12......

This is very encouraging.

My very limited experience of Murray Aston Martin was extremely positive. I was recently in there and was handled by Stuart Frame in the sales department. He was charming and keen to answer all my stupid questions. Didn't feel in the slightest bit rushed despite the fact that I made it clear from the start that I was not going to buy and was just on a fact-finding mission for a used motor.

Now that I am a new owner, I will be using them for future servicing of my car.
Thanks for the reassurance.

All the best

Not to hijack the thread but I just had my v8v in for the 4th year service yesterday.
Can't praise the service from Kenny and Murray enough.

Having had a lower quote to have the service carried out at my next closest dealer ( 3 hours drive away) Kenny was flexible on the price and I was delighted with both the price and the service received.

I even had the car MOT'd there earlier in the year, at no extra cost at all to using a regular mot centre, but with much better Coffee and the new Vanquish to look at.

A rare thing in this day and age, a good knowledgable car dealer that seems to give a monkies.

I have been pretty delighted with AM in general since I bought this car last July, at the moment I can't see past the cars or the experience.

Time to put the deposit on the V12VS I think and MTFU.

Cheers

John
