Car has to go into dealer for two new tpms sensors and im debating getting the wheels colour changed. How much would be reasonable to pay?

Considering exactly the same change on my sport pack wheel's but will probably get a local alloy wheel powder coating place to do mine rather than AM directly. I think I'm looking at about £250 all in.

I thought 300 notes as well. Let's see what ridiculous quote they come back with. Will have to cough up for some new centre caps as well

Anthracite centre caps are about £50 for a set of 4.

I would expect £400 from a main dealer.

Paid £75 a wheel for refurb and minor colour change. But as they also stripped them prior to refurbishment I wouldn't expect changing to Anthracite costing any more.
Price included them taking the wheels and tyres off the car

^^ This.

Reasonable or not, that will be what they charge. Elsewhere will do it for 100 less, at least.

Now the other choice to make is whether to paint or powdercoat. Pros and cons to each.

I was talking to Lunablack about this on Sunday
Wheelspecialist.co.uk charge ~£300
AM dealers & Lepsons are charging ~£100 a wheel

Mine goes in tomorrow at the wheel specialists in Fareham. Full strip and powdercoat on SP wheels. Light anthracite on the outside getting darker as you go inside the wheel.

And the answer is £96 per wheel plus vat. Clearly this is the wrong answer so the dealer is getting a reduction on that price and giving me a requote.

no point getting the dealer to do it. They don't do it in house, they outsource it and add a margin.

I am aware they will outsource it but it will be in for two new TPMS sensors to be fitted and coded, hence the wheels will be off (or at least two of them will). More a convenience thing.
