Can that not be reprogrammed? I hate the feeling of being locked-in and its a pain having 2 goes at getting out.
Luckily not an issue on a DB9.
Perhaps later DB9s auto unlock. On my 04 model two pulls of the door release or pressing the unlock button on the center console gets the door open. I belive It mentions in the handbook that in the event of an accident the doors automaticaly unlock. Luckily not an issue on a DB9.

it needs adjusting if it needs two pulls - one should do it. Probably the cable is too loose. You can press the unlock button on the centre console first which will make it one pull.Luckily not an issue on a DB9.
Mine did this - the dealer said it shouldn't

My owner's manual says if you have selected the door locking option then you need to pull it twice.
I may well have to stand corrected in that case. However, when in for something else, the dealer did opine that it should open on one pull (I'm sure it did when I bought it)
