Well the AM-ericans do it all the time so for a laugh why can't we on our own AM forum.

It doesn't matter how long you've shared time with us on the forum nor is it a popularity contest, its just a bit of fun in recognition to your choice of nominees contribution
to this particular forum.

Just pick 4 likely candidates that have influenced you, helped you, made you laugh or more than likely just made you smile with banter revolving around our common love of
our Aston Martins.

Remember its only for fun and there's no prize at stake other than knowing your contribution wasn't in vane,I'll get the ball rolling with a quick fire four from my short 4 year
stint on here.

In no particular order and a brief reason for my vote.

1. Lady Topaz. [The knowledgable Queen of the forum offering advise and wisdom drawn from a fine motoring pedigree which culminated in her dream car.]

2. Jockman. [Our recently lost bi-lingual King of Off Topic banter, kept the forum rolling with both laughter and his precocious appetite for volume posting.]

3. Grant3. [He brought us the modern day Bible and pops in with strong and informative advise which is gladly taken.]

Now number 4 is a tough one with many potential candidates and one thats had me scratching my head but after due deliberation my vote goes to.............

4. Tony Hall38. [Our Silvery tongued wordsmith "Tosser" thats charitable enough to bring us his annual Hever event and supply us with his inventions which help enhance our P&J.]

So there you go as I say its just a bit of fun and no offence is meant to Nominee's or to those that didn't appear, there are just to many worthy candidates but I've kept it to 4.

In no particular order of picking 4 people...

Molly & Rob for their constant enthusiasm and organisational skills. And Molly for putting up with Rob with such dignity.

Mikeyk for technical knowledge of cars generally and also organisational skills. Plus never shutting up about his old S2000...

Lunablack for knowing his car inside out and making videos of how to do stuff. And having nice watches.

V12woollie for the JLC trip and peddling his V8 so hard through Germany he could keep up with the grown-ups yes

A special mention goes to Woolders for grammatical excellence. His subtlety defeats many on here smile

Can't fault any of those choices, although I haven't met everyone mentioned.
All I will say is, I've encountered many people on the forum over the year or so I've frequented the place and they've all contributed to the enjoyment of the ownership experience so far.

Group-hug smiley anyone? smile

You big girl. Anyway, you're on my list for being a top roomie (despite snoring like a water buffalo) and sharing my extensive bar bills time and again.....

AMDBSNICK is clearly on my list for being solely responsible for getting me into this band of lunatics and for dragging me away from my family at every opportunity for a sane(ish) chinwag and luscious pint.

Rob and Molly, for being the highlight of any social gathering....just when you thought it couldn't get any more inappropriate...

V12Woolie - cos he's a lovely bloke and he bought me lunch, for which I am eternally grateful.

st, I'm gonna bust my limit of 4....

Yeti, despite having only met once, strikes me as a good man to have around in a variety of situations and is a thoroughly charming chap.

Woolders, 'cos he reminds me of an Admiral friend of mine.....mad as a box of frogs but delivers absolute gems when the situation requires it.

Mikeyk for organising and more importantly giving me target practice on several occasions.....

Finally TonyV12V for a) gifting me his V12 when he gets the V12VS, amazing isn't it? And b) for providing me with yet another son I don't need.

For those without a mention, don't take it personally, I'm just drunk all the time I'm with you and can't remember you! (Joke)

Hmmmmm interesting one this... Definite vote for Grant and good old Jockers ( come back all is forgiven) Mikey for his knowledge of all things V8 And Rob for.......???? Well being Rob I suppose - Molly too of course. Woolders for being a gent. There's too many people on this forum who collectively deliver such wit and knowledge for anyone to be left out really.

This may make no sense at all ......at an extremely alcoholic barbecue now!laughmusic

My vote goes to MAVERICK, for such brilliant entertainment.

When he feels there might be an engine fault with his DB9, he seems to immediately reach for a Mole wrench, and dismantles the engine.

We admire his courage, but remain unclear about his engineering skill.
When many engine parts are on the garage floor, he worries everyone then, by asking for help, sometimes with the most naive questions (eg. checking bearing wear, by measuring the width of a bearing).

The whole saga is like a dramatic novel, because we are left wondering whether it will all end in tears.

The current story is a real cliff hanger. Engine once again in pieces, and then Maverick told us he was going away to climb the Eiger. I don't think any more chapters have been published.. Where is he? How is the DB9? What does it all mean? Does anyone know the ending?

I hope it's not a case of, "I'm going outside to climb the Eiger, I may be some time".

I think that you are all mad and I am going to buy a Honda Jazzzzzzz like Jockman and my mother-in-law in order to become a really sensible chap.

I do enjoy the entertainment though.

Where is that 710 thing?

Did I hear that Turkey was throwing its hat in the ring with the US over the Syrian crisis (which sadly is about to get even more serious),,,,not a place I'd be looking to go on holiday Jockers. eek

Sounds simple enough Ed, but in fact, it isn't at all, not for me anyway. scratchchin

If you'll excuse me I'm going to list my top 10,,,in alphabetical order coz well, I like'm all:

AMDBSNick, coz he's owns a gorgeous black DBS, and he makes me larf.
Bincenzo, coz he makes good sense, most of the time.
Cockers, coz he makes me larf, a lot and he knows it.
Ed50, coz of your enthusiasm, its infectious and your obvious generousity.
Jockers, coz of his razor sharp wit and also somehow you feel a sensitive soul.
Jonby, coz he knows loads of Aston Martin stuff.
Mikey k, coz I just know he should be here and he's on Yetis list.
Rob n Molly, coz they belong on my list, indeed on everyone's list, no list would be complete, would it though!
V12 Woollie, coz he appears to enjoy AM stuff in a similar way to myself, so a kindred spirit I suppose.
Yeti, coz I daredunt leave him out.

and TonyV12V coz he lives in Norfolk and I don't want him to feel left out,,,I know, thats 11 but I'm a Yellow Belly remember so I'm allowed. yes
