Hi guys.
I have found my interior lights (X2 behind my review mirror) to be quite dim/dull in my V8V at night.

Simple question.... Can I change these bulbs to a more brighter / whiter bulb or Led.
If so, how do i remove the plastic cover and where can I source these brighter bulbs please?

Many thanks

Pull each lamp assembly out of the cowling. The bulbs are T10 wedge Bulbs W5W 501.

I got mine here - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2X-6-LED-XENON-WHITE-HID...

You need to order these - 2X 6 LED XENON WHITE HID 501 194 168 W5W SIDELIGHT BULB

I only did the lights behind the mirror - could live with the footwell candles!

Thanks chaps.

I am deff going to do this mod. Especially after seeing the pics in the thread that Omaruk shared.
It's just the ones behind the mirror I was keen to change but may as well do the footwell a too.

Drmw: in the link you shared the item has ended. But looking at the sellers other items, there seem to be a few options.
I assume I can just get any other?

Thanks again.

Only to find Aston had beaten me to it hehe
It seems at some point they have upgraded them to LEDs with mentioning it in the manual

Will these fit in the footwells also?

Is there any others that are easily replaced?

Can someone post a list?

I bought these, the same as M333v8v did
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200473901779?ssPageName=...

They fit the footwell and map reading lights. I bought the 6 element ones for the footwells and 4 element ones for the reading lights since I did not want them to be too bright. Just waiting for it to go dark to see the results. Will post when it goes dark. Only took 15 mins but the footwell ones are a bit of a pain. But just reach around the back and twist off the cable fitting as it goes into the socket and its easy!

I fitted these, the 6 led white to both the map lights and the footwell. Results are great comparing to the old lights.

Here is a pic taken with my iPhone. Sorry about the quality.

Just fitted these little guys for replacement/upgrade interior light bulbs, they are very high quality as you would expect from Osram:
I found mine on Ebay...
