KM to MPH

I have just picked up an 06 Vantage and cannot work out how to change the digital readout from KM to MPH. Also is there a knack of opening the tailgate? The key fob does not open it unless there is a problem with it and the little silver on the boot button does not work every time.
Any suggestions gratefully received....

Hold the Read button in at the same time as pressing the button on the end of the left stalk. Hold both pressed for a couple of seconds.
On an 06 the remote doesn't open the boot, just unlocks it.

The fob does not open the boot, it just unlocks it. You can use the button on the centre console to open the boot, but it does not pop up or anything like that.

Read the owners handbook, pretty much tells you everything you need to know in there! so many things that i wentr ahhh well i never knew that!
