Rango the photo guy
Discussion
Hi all,
Well as the title says i'm Rango the photo guy, i'm 23 and live in Peterborough.
I am the boyfriend of Ed50's eldest daughter Laura,
i'm a keen amateur photographer looking to improve further on my skills.
i'm a honda crz owner at present but do aim to have my first A.M for my 30th birthday (something to aim for), i did used to attend a variety of
japanese performance/ modified shows and meets but have since been shown the error of my japanese ways and enlightened into the wonderful world of Aston Martin by ed50.
ill be offering free photo shoots to anyone local to Peterborough and surrounding villages/ areas Mon-Fri
after 5pm and anytime Saturdays or Sundays (would like to ad this IS NOT an advertisement to make any form of profit merely just a hobby i'm looking to get better at) and because i love my aston's
anyone wishing to view some of my work can find a few pictures on this thread: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
I look forward to any interest for AM owners for some shots of their P&J'S
Thanks Rango

Christ you've gone active now heaven forbid,I suppose that'll be me getting the blame when your spending to much time on here..........
Right start as you mean to go on so know the rules.
1. Start your sentences with a Capital, there are some very educated folk on here.........somewhere.
2. Don't start taking the piss out of me..........you will come off worse....
3. If anyone starts begging for Cake report it to me immediately.
4. Manage your time on here, I don't want Ear Hole off SWMBO.
5. Pictures of Astons at any given opportunity will always be welcomed.
6. Beware of the Jockman,a small blue person hailing from the North West,he loves new Meat....and Cake for that matter.
Right thats you on the straight and narrow,I'll be seeing you later no doubt.

Correcto...or if didn't happen....whatever it was you did...
23 is almost half my life ago and I had just become a company Director, eagerly awaiting my first company car - a Ford Sierra estate IIRC. I had left uni in Newcastle upon Tyne with a 2:1 in Politics & History and was dating a girl who lived in the Western District of Hong Kong. I hadn't yet met Mr Gould.
You are younger than George so I hope you have less spots than him.
If Ed becomes your father in law he will do your 'ed' in - that's the real reason we call him 'ed', rather than the more vulgar suffix.
If you take exceedingly good photos I shall allow you to buy me some cake

I issue this to anyone who wants to go out with my daughters:
Ten Simple Rules for Dating my Daughter
Rule One :
If you pull into my driveway and honk you'd better be delivering a package, because you're sure not picking anything up.
Rule Two :
You do not touch my daughter in front of me. You may glance at her, so long as you do not peer at anything below her neck. If you cannot keep your eyes or hands off of my daughter's body, I will remove them.
Rule Three :
I am aware that it is considered fashionable for boys your age to wear their trousers so loose that they appear to be falling off. Please don't take this as an insult, but you and all of your friends are complete idiots. Still, I want to be fair and open minded about this issue, so I propose this compromise: You may come to the door with your underwear showing and your pants ten sizes too big, and I will not object. However, to ensure that your clothes do not, in fact, come off during your date with my daughter, I will use my electric nail gun and fasten your trousers securely to your waist.
Rule Four :
I'm sure you've been told that in today's world, sex without utilizing a "barrier method" of some kind can kill you. Let me elaborate, when it comes to sex, I am the barrier, and I will kill you.
Rule Five :
In order for us to get to know each other, we should talk about sports, politics, and other issues of the day. Please do not do this. The only information I require from you is an indication of when you expect to have my daughter safely back at my house, and the only word I need from you on this subject is "early."
Rule Six :
I have no doubt you are a popular fellow, with many opportunities to date other girls. This is fine with me as long as it is okay with my daughter. Otherwise, once you have gone out with my little girl, you will continue to date no one but her until she is finished with you. If you make her cry, I will make you cry.
Rule Seven :
As you stand in my front hallway, waiting for my daughter to appear, and more than an hour goes by, do not sigh and fidget. If you want to be on time for the movie, you should not be dating. My daughter is putting on her makeup, a process that can take longer than painting the Golden Gate Bridge. Instead of just standing there, why don't you do something useful, like changing the oil in my car?
Rule Eight :
The following places are not appropriate for a date with my daughter: Places where there are beds, sofas, or anything softer than a wooden stool. Places where there are no parents, policemen, or nuns within eyesight. Places where there is darkness. Places where there is dancing, holding hands, or happiness. Places where the ambient temperature is warm enough for my daughter to wear shorts, tank tops, midriff T-shirts, or anything other than overalls, a sweater, and a goose down parka zipped up to her throat. Movies with a strong romantic or sexual theme are to be avoided; movies which features chain saws are okay. Hockey games are okay. Old folks homes are better.
Rule Nine :
Do not lie to me. I may appear to be a potbellied, balding, middle-aged, dimwitted has-been. But on issues relating to my daughter, I am the all-knowing, merciless god of your universe. If I ask you where you are going and with whom, you have one chance to tell me the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I have a shotgun, a shovel, and five acres behind the house. Do not trifle with me.
Rule Ten :
Be afraid. Be very afraid. It takes very little for me to mistake the sound of your car in the driveway for a chopper coming in over a rice paddy outside of Hanoi. When my Agent Orange starts acting up, the voices in my head frequently tell me to clean the guns as I wait for you to bring my daughter home. As soon as you pull into the driveway you should exit your car with both hands in plain sight. Speak the perimeter password, announce in a clear voice that you have brought my daughter home safely and early, then return to your car--there is no need for you to come inside. The camouflaged face watching you from the window is mine.

Simon,
Most excellent I must get the t shirt, fortunately young Chris is evolving nicely into a mini me,already got him out of the souped up Jap mobile
with the crazy "lets wake every ba*tard up exhaust".
A smooth and gentle introduction in to the real world of motoring has insued and he's now all Astoned up having had a few trips to events and
to the factory to get into the swing,he can now even leave my drive without wheel spinning in the neatly raked and graded gravel.
He's chomping at the bit for Burghley next year where he's been promoted to Head Steward and Photo Guy, also along with my eldest daughter he's
crept onto the Saturdays Beano at the George, that'll be more expense for me no doubt....
It'll be nice to have him in attendance at Burghley anyway it'll help keep the flies off of me................
.
Jockman,
A lovely insight to your informative years there btw, touching to think your still so young.....you had me fooled, you've made me feel thoroughly old this
morning.
Yes old,I know my cheerful wit and brutally handsome good looks make it hard to believe that I'm from another era but its sadly true
, we won't need any E.D
connotation thanks from any quarter as its hard "or in my case not" to live with such age related hydraulic failure.
I see the old bluff there about a young H K based maiden that once touched your, lets think,heart......
.
Tosh, I'm having none of it.... that was no doubt a pre operative MG and you've smuggled him into the country and hidden him allowing you smooth but easy access when the mood takes you.
Anyway I'm sure young Chris will be pleased to ply you with Cake, but I have warned him about strange men and some say none come stranger....

Rango. A very important piece of advice for you.
If Ed were to become your father-in-law, DO NOT EVEN THINK about asking to drive his Aston Martin, from the wedding ceremony to the reception.
In fact it is wise never to ask for a drive. Just be a happy passenger, until you buy your own.
Jon,
I don't know whether he knows of the "Weddings" sad and sorry story but I'll enlighten him at some point later.
Don't give him idea's of driving the Aston or Weddings theres a good chap.....
I've got my eye out wanting and waiting for a V12VS Roadster, got to get ones priorities right dear boy....

The topic concerns photographing Aston Martin cars.
However, with all this talk about young ladies, George is sure to be joining the conversation soon.
I think I can say without fear of contradiction that George would have nothing to add to any conversation about young ladies However, with all this talk about young ladies, George is sure to be joining the conversation soon.

I am left wondering if we are going to see a set of racy pictures of Ed's daughter on here, perhaps with his Aston in the background to keep it on the forum? All in the best possible taste mind you
