I am looking for cars to display in this Timeline on Saturday 2nd November at the Regent Street Motor Show. Aim is to showcase AMs through the years with a good selection of cars from each era.
Fantastic FREE show in heart of London, if you haven't got an Aston to bring then come along and enjoy the atmosphere, I gather it is rather unique.idea

Seems to be some confusion over the googledoc list and numbers wanted....if in doubt contact me!
Particulary looking for pre wars, DB2s, 4s, 5, 6s, Virages in fact most of the beautiful cars made pre 1990.
Sorry but have full quota of 7s and 9s but am making a reserve list if you want to go on it.
Also any new Gaydons out there? or a Cygnet?

I'm going - Barb wasn't too impressed by the early start required to get there from Redditch though!

I'm going but a bit confused by the confused instructions in where to meet up!
Original post said New Burlington Street, the documents I was sent simply said cars to hold away from Regent Street and enter via Lower Regent Street but no details. I also had an email saying I would receive revised instructions because of the number of Astons involved but nothing since.

So... anyone decided where to meet up prior to going to Regent Street? I don't want to be buggering about in central London on the morning.

Hope to meet a few of you on Saturday.

I'm aiming to get to Lower Regent Street for about 8.15 and loiter there, unless the new instructions say other wise.

Yes, it just looks to me like we need to be in lower regent street at 8.15ish. From memory it's one way though (south to North). Also have a suspicion it might be chaotic there with 150-200 cars all loitering to get into regent street. Should be fun, fingers crossed on the weathersmile

Yeah, that's what seems to be the case. If I'm early I will loiter in Waterloo Place. Also I believe there was mention of coffee/tea here:-

Teas and coffees will be available for the drivers and their passengers at the Brasserie Zedel in Sherwood Street from 08.30 – 10.30.

Ah is that why Brasserie Zedel is specially marked on the location map at the regent street show website? (something like www.regentstreetmotorshow.com)
