Pearl Update

Bamford Mike has now sent us Pearl's Dyno Report. I though that it was going to be good. We now have 468 BHP which is a fair old increase over her original 422. I am delighted to say the least. The pinnacle system as fitted by BR is quite different to Purdeys. I noticed that pick up mid range is faster and she positively rushes to the rev limiter . To keep up with a hard charging V12 I need to be flying up and down the gears and keeping the engine above 5000 rpm at all times. It is an absolute joy! Any misgivings about the poxy problems that I have had with the factory's build quality are now firmly behind me (I hope) . Molly will publish Pearl's dyno chart results later for all to see.

Impressive results indeed, backed up by how she goes and sounds on the road, hopefully you can both start to forget about the niggles and continue the fun .

Now much as we all love Rob (and Molly of course!), are you seriously wagering on Pearl versus a 650bhp monster DB9? Don't get me wrong, happy to take your money

As I said in the other thread, Pearl is a stunning car in every respect. So pleased that you are both pleased with the end result, even if the journey was fraught.
