Hi Chaps (and Chap'esses)
Don't think I'm breaking any rules with this as I'm not advertising anything per'se but I thought I'd let you know about my new little site that you may or may not find helpful as car lovers.
http://www.mymanmaths.com
The about page kinda gives you the whole story but cut a long story short if you are hankering after your next purchase (V12V anyone?) then you might find it helpful (or not). Totally free BTW, I just get asked for the tool a lot so I thought I'd stick it up on the interweb for everyone to play with.

The light blue square on the home page looks like a pop up when you first look at; I kept looking for the "X" to get rid of it unless I realised it was not a pop up.
Lol, thanks Snuffy. Always interested in feedback and suggestions given that it's a new site. Decided to give the old social media stuff a go too in order to tie everything together. https://www.facebook.com/mymanmaths and also https://twitter.com/MyManMathsAs and when I update the tools or spot a cracking car related deal then I'm planning on updating the feeds. So 'like' or 'follow' if you fancy it. I've a few friends whose better halves refer to my spreadsheet as dangerous because it nearly always leads to a car purchase. I take that as a compliment.

Hmm, I'm wondering whether there would be any interest in turning this into an iOS app (I'm a software engineer and do iOS apps for a living). The app would be quite trivial to make although I'm already swamped with too many side projects.Cool idea
Doesn't seen to work on phones though (I guess it links to a spreadsheet or something? Just FYI I do 90% of my browsing on a phone or tablet these days. I don't think I'd want an app though, just some HTML5 magic.
Also, I can echo what someone else said, the title box really looks like a popup.

Thanks for the feedback guys. The mobile thing is a funny one as whilst the site should be mobile friendly as it's pure HTML5, the tools themselves are indeed excel spreadsheet based. I'd love an app for sure however that's not within my skill set and I'd have no idea how to code the complicated formula equivalents.
The google analytics stats do show a lot of mobile based users. Whilst I could easily make a responsive mobile centric site the content would still be excel based. Not sure there's much I can do on that front unfortunately.

Wow, that's very impressive.
I was expecting it to be just a "MTFU and buy it" or something like "spending £2,000 on glass buttons is better than spending £20,000 on getting a newer model of the same car that already has glass buttons". I didn't download the spreadsheet yet but judging by the screenshots it looks like some properly researched work.
