One evening recently 2001 DB7 Vantage wouldn't start after evening out. Dash lights came on as normal everything looked and sounded normal but completely no reaction to the start button. Left the car and came back the next evening with spare keys. Tried to start with original keys, still no joy, tried the spare set and hey presto started normally. Got home parked up and put car to bed. Next evening tried to start car again and neither set of keys work. Just wondering whether there is any way I can move the car? Is there any way round the immobiliser?

Not the most technically astute answer but whenever I've had an electrical glitch with my 7 (engine light etc) I've found disconnecting the battery for an hour or so seems to cure the problem.
Might be worth a try smile

I had the same some years ago and it turned out to be a loose cable connection to the starter motor. I had the same intermittent starting that gradually got worse until neither key worked.
