Lunchtime Boredom (3M Carbon Sheet + Light Inserts = Fun)

Got a spare set of light inserts for my new Clear Lights and thought I would try using some 3M Di-Noc Sheets to make some carbon look inserts.

Took under 10mins to do one, haven't secured it in the light properly yet. Will get them on the car over the next few days in the evening.

What do you lot think so far?

As you say, a bit of fun, easily reversible I would guess so no harm if you don't like it long term.

George will cream his jeans when he sees it though yesbiggrin.

If you spray over it with several coats of clear lacquer then it would have some depth which would make it more plausible to be real as opposed to stick on.

You can buy gloss black carbon vinyl. Go for the 4D stuff as it enables the bubbles to be squeezed out easily. It looks very realistic. Im doing my engine cover (over the radiator) to see how good it looks. Easy to peel off if its sh*@e.

Don't see the point of ££££ carbon on the rear inserts to be honest.

Front splitter and rear diffuser fine and on the list to do.

Its more of an idea on what it would look like, for a comparison.

Under a £10 so worth it just for a bit of fun.
