I unplugged 3 times the airbag without removing the battery cables and no one problem
Yes, but did you turn the ignition on while the airbag was disconnected? I did so that I could move the car. Apparently that's the difference between the airbag light not being tripped in the first place.

The fault needs sortware to clear.
It's usually to do with the Airbag coil in behind the air bag itself. Easy to break, tear, snap or just become loose if you do anything with the wheel itself.
Mine snapped - wasn't an expensive fix from memory.
My clock spring is good, since all functions on the wheel work just fine. I suppose only the airbag connection could be buggered, but what's the odds of that being the case? More likely it got set because of turning the igntion on and the car going thru the system check (and failing) and then the code being stored permanently and needing reset via AM test equipment. It's usually to do with the Airbag coil in behind the air bag itself. I didn't even take the wheel off just the air bag off, I cut the cruise switch in with the wheel in place, only because I didn't have a torque drive big enough to removal the wheel. I did however switch the ignition on while the bag was off thus registering the fault. Anyway car is booked in to have the cruise function switched on in the ECU on Monday and hopefully just a simple reset for the airbag. I will be very surprised and disappointed if it's anything else as all was find until I unplugged it !
