Well after 5 years with my 2008 blue V8V roadster I have decided to purchase a Ferrari California.

I have loved every minute I have never kept a car for this long before.

Hope I will still be allowed on any north west outings.

I am sure I will come back to the brand in the future.

Congrats. Considering one myself although I'm torn between that or a DBS. Why Cali out of curiosity?

Fancy a blue or black.

Went for the Cali for a change really.
However I was slightly influenced by the most popular posts in the Aston Martin section on pistonheads are mainly problems people have with their cars.
I must say mine has been as good as gold apart from the 1 paint issue near the door handle.

You are only here once and life's not a rehearsal so I will see how I get on.

I know deep down I will have another Aston.

I looked at Cali's a while back.
It will be interesting to hear how you get on with it.

Should be sorted over the weekend I have three to look at.

Must say I like the sound of the 4 year warranty and 7 years service costs included.

You can argue that the cost is in the price of the car but that's only part of the story. I really, really like the example that ferrari is setting here - putting their quality control money where there mouth is.

Wow! Thats an amazing offer and worth a lot of money... The servicing costs and warranty is one of things that put me off looking in that direction....

(Is that garage specific and only available on new cars)?

I believe the 7 year servicing costs are transferable and where available on cars registered from 2011 reg.

I have looked at 3 different cars registered in May 2011 and they all have 5 years free servicing left and 2 years warranty left.

Will post pictures after delivery on 31 st October.
Car is on graypaul Birmingham web site is the pale blue one with 180 miles on the clock.

Probably not the best colour for a Ferrari but I seem to have a thing for Pale blue cars.

Got about 10 more sleeps till delivery.

Must say if I could have afforded to keep the Aston I would have done,I have loved that car and it's been a big wrench finally deciding to change it.

Re mileage
Yes I agree car has spent its life in Jersey and has had two services one year car only did 45 miles.

I will soon sort out putting some miles on it .

Has still got warranty till 2015 and another 5 free services until May 2018 .

Guess Jersey must be a small island then ?.
