Quick article on the vanquish, nothing meaningful said, and another reference to AMG but couched as a forerunner to a possible takeover of AM by Merc in the future.

Stevo....I'm just back from a weekend away with Karen's family (26 of us) near Aberystwyzxwxzzth and it was my pleasure to do the newspaper run on the Saturday morning...or so I thought.
Imagine my horror at having to buy a MIRROR and a MAIL in the same transaction, along with my half price, well-balanced, Rupert-doesn't-mess-with-the-editorials TIMES !!!
Talk about dysfunctional families

Now that IS dysfunctional, was there lots of pointing and smirking going on in the shop or did you wait until it was empty? Imagine my horror at having to buy a MIRROR and a MAIL in the same transaction, along with my half price, well-balanced, Rupert-doesn't-mess-with-the-editorials TIMES !!!

Now the Times I'd read online but I can't afford it with running the Aston.....

If we can move off the subject of testicles, just for the moment....
This is the best line of the article and sums up my feeling about Aston vis-a-vis its competitors, at least for me, and it is why I would never be seen in one of those.
"I adore big, powerful, front-engined cars. So I can’t help but adore Aston Martins. I’m too old to carry off a mid-engined Ferrari or McLaren. They just look wrong on a man of a certain age. But not an Aston Martin."

I was actually living in Newcastle when the Viz surfaced (1987-90)....ish....and one trip into the Bigg Market later, you sort of got what it was about
I was actually a BiB working round the Bigg market area at that time! You didn't come to our notice did you Phil, I always remember checking the cell block out on a handover, and the shoes outside the male cells went something like this:
Dr martins, trainers, trainers, Boots, pair of ladies red high heel shoes, Dr martins, Trainers........
Just asking....

Seriously, a single mans dream the Bigg market. One evening I was approached by a young American man asking what the special occasion was, and he couldn't believe it when I told him it was always like that! His eyes were popping at the lack of clothing on display.......

Just preach at everyone, you'll get lots of attention that way.
Right then Lewis want to explain the comment in more detail or to whom or what it is aimed...........MTFU Mr Yeti I thought you were one of the Good Guys when I joined in on here but sadly you flattered
to deceive.
I will make no further comment or remark to such posts, but just do me the favour and tell me what your
problem is.
