Stratstone eDM
Discussion
Got this from Stratstone today, with whom I've only ever dealt in regard to Aston Martin:

Nothing untoward from Stratstone here, given they (and not AM) own my contact data in this instance, but with all the negative press around AM at the moment (esp the need for a replacement Vantage) and the furore around the F-Type, I do wonder what the dealer / marketing chaps in Gaydon think of this cross-sell approach. The opening line of the email is hardly subtle...!
Maybe they think I'll buy a Jaaaaaag for the wife, and upgrade (a car I no longer have
) to a V12VS whilst I'm in there...

All current groups are using the cross selling ploy nothing sinister in it at all. Except if you are unhappy with the current vehicle, here is something that may fit your needs. I regularly get inivites emails etc. for Bentley, Ferrari, Maserati and so on from the group that I deal with, test drives that I often take up.
I got that spam too. I was a little insulted that they thought I was the sort of person that would buy a jag.
I'm about 10 years too young, and have more taste*. It's not often I can say that with a straight face either

- most jags look pretty good to me, but the f type is odd looking.
