Brake warning lights on dash

Hi i have a problem on my 06 V8V, the brake warning lights are on and i get the message brake failure stop safely plus no speedo or trip counter.
The brakes do work, TC, ABS etc all ok.
I spoke to local dealer who thinks it may be a bad connection or moisture under the carpets.
Checked this out and found nothing.
Anyone had this before and found a cure?

Had the same when I had my V8V. Gets posted on here quite often - pedal pressure switch if I remember correctly
The trip etc will return I think if you press the read button
