Anyone been on any organised tours with the likes of Petrolheads Nirvana or Circuit Days or other recommendations? Quite fancy a trip to Monaco and back via a bit of Italy and like the idea of someone else planning it.

Hi Phil, I haven't been called Bobby for about 50 years, Jockman seems to want to though. Please understand his Aston has gone, he is a bit upset, I am prepared to humour him.

Right tours! Go to the Petrolhead Nirvana site. Molly and I have recently returned from our 2nd Alpine Tour. We have now been on their North and South Tour. I would sum them up by saying that without doubt both trips have been the most exciting thing we have ever done. The driving is pretty much full on, the scenery stunning, the hotels and food brilliant and the commeraderie fantastic. I could not recommend PH. Nirvana highly enough. Nuff said!

Yes I had spotted that site and read a great review from someone who has just come back from their American trip. I'll keep an eye out for their 2014 trips.

Thanks

They use decent walkie talkies too. You can actually hear what Rob is saying. Oh hang on, perhaps that's not a USP biggrin

That's rubbish Jockers, it stays in the same place all the time. At least the Aston moved, albeit slowly yes

Crazy isn't it eek

We have a posh shed, Rob even parks his Honda in it. We had it custom built and it cost a modest 4 figure sum. We had enough spare change left to buy an Aston Martin biggrin

I could fancy that David.
Are you thinking of suggesting the idea as a Topic on the forum to see who is interested ?

I did start a thread a few weeks ago asking if anyone had already done it and there was a good response with lots of advise. Based on what was said I changed my idea from a long weekend to a 5 day trip. Mon, Tue enjoying the drive down. Wed night in hotel Paris and a night in the casino.(On the same square if you have never been). And then a Thur, Fri drive back.

No specific dates, just an idea at the moment rather than the annual pilgrimage to Madeira...
