Time for the Vantage to go already. Stratstones fault.

After a little less than 9 months ownership, I made the terrible mistake of taking the Vantage to Stratstones for its service. It all started quite amicably after dropping my car off when they let me drive a Tungsten V8SS home. Its when I went back that it all went wrong.
Not only did the service go without any dramas, they decided it would be appropriate to tell me my car was worth only a couple of grand less than I paid for it. Naturally I was a little perturbed and went over to see them and discuss their inappropriate behavior.
I met with Martin and Gary (boss man) and laid the transgression before them. Demonstrating a complete lack of comprehension of the seriousness of the situation, they then offered me the said Vantage SS with a plethora of additional incentives. I was so angry that I threw my debit card at them.
Hopefully they have now learned their lesson.

As per my own enforcement of the PH rules, pics on arrival.

Cheers Jockers!
OK, its not quite as it will arrive. Some of those "incentives" are missing, but this is the car.
We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious.........cloud9

Absolute belter !!!

My DB9 was Tungsten....look closely at it and there is a myriad of flecks in there yes

I had the 19 spoke DT Wheels and although yours have 19 spokes they do seem a slightly different design scratchchin

Edit - your wheels are 20 spoke !!

That's just nasty. How do these people sleep at night. Once they get you hooked, there's nothing you can do.

They aren't called "Dealers" for nothing.

They won't let you stop with that. These type of people always get you. You'll be back for a bigger "hit" soon enough.

Beautiful car. Looks stunning.

I really appreciate the kind words guys.

The wheels are one of the changes before its delivered. They are putting the 5 spokes on in their place. They are also putting on the protection film, carbon splitter and a full set of glass buttons....
I'm glad you all agree, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Cant wait to get some wax on it!!

Purdey was Tungsten. In my opinion one of the very best colours for a Vantage. Congratulations, buying an Aston Martin is such an emotional thing. There are so many things in your head saying NO NO but we tell them to go away and say 'Feck it , I'll have it". In other words ,Well done!

Ford are not content just pinching the AM grille. They use the same wheels as well.

Perhaps not quite brave enough, to use the grille and wheels on the same car.

Congratulations!! Very nice!!
I have those wheels on my Tungsten V8. In my (biased) opinion, they're the nicest! Seems Stratstones will now have a set to sell off cheap.
And I find them really easy to keep clean too! I. Just give £10 to the Kosovo Karen Wash guys and they clean them! cool
