Hello Group - Been contemplating an 05 DB9 and one of the very few problems with the car is that the automatic trunk (boot?) release via the remote fob isn't working. Seller said that the release button in the cabin works fine and he never gave it a thought. Having only one remote doesn't seem to help in the diagnoses. Any known similar problems with say another component/receiver? Since I'm old, need the bifocal windshield and couldn't hear the difference with fuse 22 out or in, this convenience is one I'd like to have. Thanks, all!

If its like my Vantage - 06 model, it doesn't. Pressing twice should just unlock the boot but you still have to manually press button and open. The most useless feature on the car.

Some cars need a 'double press' to unlock or even a long continual press...but don't know about a DB9 ;D

My 07 Vantage opened the boot with a double press. No need to use the button, just lift the lid.
