Pearl as you all know is finished in Stratus White. It is quite a bold colour but after grey and silver Astons Molly and I love it. When the car was purchased it had been subject to quite a high spec this included lots of black trim , for example the grill. I am contemplating applying black lips ! I know that this is now an option on the V12 S plus most of the race cars seem to have had it done.

As Bamford Rose have applied their magic touch to Pearl turning it into a much more focused proposition the question is , do I go for Black Lips? The front end of the car has been treated to Venture Shield which is a God Send . I am sure that if we change our minds it would not be a great problem to remove the lippy!

So your thoughts please. George , have a few beers before you reply! wink

I cant remember if your grille is black or bright-finish Rob. If its black then it would seem unnecessary but saying that it would go well with the carbon wrapped wing mirrors you crave wink.

Have a you been drinking Rob? Sorry, forget that. Rob, have you been drinking more than usual? Pearl is perfect and, as I keep telling my Woollettes when applying makeup or perfume, less is more biggrin

Agree less is more - Wolf in sheep's clothes. Maybe discreet BR logo when available?

I guess if it's not quite chavvy enough as it is then go for it.

Although I'd take that black vinyl and wrap the entire car in it, would look much better yes

Your campaign is not working, George.

I now see many new white cars.
Wonder what will be the next in-colour, promoted by the motor manufacturers?
Presumably the production line workers complained, that they were becoming bored building so many silver cars.

Dark metallic brown I reckon. Only difference is that it actually looks good unlike white yes

I'd opt for black lips, mirrors and all the chrome, all the grills black too - would look stunning - IMHO ;o)

I say if Pearl is having some lippy applied it should be something a touch more feminine - I usually go for a peachy shade myself - I'm sure that would look good on her (particularly when I'm the one driving her) yes

To really have an opinion you need to watch this video (from 8 minutes in when Pearl starts following the video car) - plenty of chance to take a good look at her and use your imagination biggrin ... and if you get bored there's a nice appearance at 9.48 of a cow, complete with bells, going the opposite way eek
