Another TPMS query

Well I've got my spare set of wheels, and the winter tires are on order, but no TPMS sensor valves. If I run without TPMS sensors will I get a continual warning message or is there a way I can disable the system for the winter? Grateful for any advice.

Just unplug the unit. No alarms, no need to do anything. I put my spare set of wheels on (with valves and new sensors, but they came up with a warning so I just disconnected the head unit. I've just replaced the original wheels with the original sensors and plugged it back in.

J12MOC has the later version with no head unit under the glovebox
Only chance I guess would be to find a fuse specific to the TPMS system and pull that?
