If that was the case I think the power would still be available. When the aerial tuning unit failed in my car the satnav and phone were electrically dead.

Tried all the suggestions, but still nothing. Everything else is working....just the sat nav is totally dead, won't even flip open. Does anyone know someone who does repairs in Hampshire/ Berkshire/surrey. Failing that I will have to take it lancasters to investigate.

My dealer in Chichester discovered a failed satnav aerial tuner when they plugged their diagnostic gizmo into my DB9.Thanks.
