Looks good for mileage, but suspect it might be on SOR, and has moved little for the last 6 years according to the service history?

"James Bond Silver"
Nice to see its being sold by a dealer that knows about the cars....

Has it had the gearbox actuator upgrade done?
Has it ever had a new clutch?
Is the front subframe corroded?
Thats for starters. Don't buy a Vanquish without doing lots of research. On the updside the prices of Vanquish S are on the up.

At £60k I'd ask to have a full inspection done by Works Service or Bamford Rose. Any dealer should not object.

Mike, your best source for information is the Newport Pagnell Vanquish section of the AMOC forum.
I hate that grill, it's the first time I've ever seen a Vanquish molested!

James Bond Silver - That is a new colour to me.

Slightly worried that their technicians have been certified. smile

Thanks guys, not the most ringing endorsement then. The grille on an Aston is so iconic it's a shame it's been messed with. More thought and research needed I guess.

Wonder what would cause that and the shiny steering wheel?

I wouldn't say the leather on the driver seat or the steering wheel is that worn - they look like that pretty quickly from new. The leather grade is very high, it may look less uniform and 'plastic' as could be found in a Mondeo, but that's character.

The description is poor, suggesting they won't know what to look out for in terms of maintenance / checks, so get it inspected. Great cars - grill is easily replaced.

Apart from the grill and the rear Vanquish badge this looks like a lovely motor. It has been looked after by Works service for the past 2500miles and seven years, so I am sure there will be no big horrors lurking. The problem is that the Vanquish likes to be driven. I suspect it will suffer with seal problems, possibly on the A/C, power steering, gearbox, axle etc. But maybe not and I’m sure BR or WS can put things right as they come along.

And they could put a proper grill back on it.
