Time to think about Xmas presents as Rob has suggested
I suspect Mrs K is contemplating a low profile jack as the current one won't go under the jacking point wink
Problem is she can't go and measure the height of the Vantage S to check it fits frown
Any one fancy getting a tape measure out and doing her a favour? (needs to be a Vantage S on sports suspension) please smile

Would love to help Mikey but our S is currently in the same location as yours.

How thoughtful of Mrs K to come up with something like that for you and your beloved (car) wink

125mm at the front and a bit more at the back. I bought a Sealey 2.5 ton jack model 2500LE which goes down to just 90mm.

Thanks
Is that to the jacking point or clearance past the sill?
Most seem to hit the lower limit around 90mm
But the 4.3 manual I have in PDF says the limit is 97mm and I know the 4.3 rides higher than an S confused
That Sealey is low at 85mm

Feet up by the fire now but will measure again tomorrow. The Sealy jack at 90 mm clears the sills easily. 120mm is floor to under guard which if I recall is more or less level with the bottom of the cill.

You might wish to ask Santa a nice aluminum race style jack!

The one I've got works a treat on my S and race car and I've got a special foam block to go on the jack pad so it doesn't muck up the chassis, though a bit of soft wood would do the trick.

They should be about £100 on eBay.

The other thing watch is to push it in far enough to make sure it on the chassis and not on any part of the side sill.
