My new Aston Vantage S has a squeaky rear hatch… Are there any quick fixes for this? I've tried adjusting it to no avail.

Had that problem on my past V8V and then my V12V. Infuriating, isn't it? Try Carbaflo on the seals - this completely got rid of the noise for me.

This is a known minor problem. My dealer put a grease like substance along the rear of the roofline where the hatch seal rubs the paint and this fixes the issue.

A thin cut of self adhesive felt stuck around the inside of the hatch where it meets the seal will cure it permanently. Did it on my last V8V coupe - never heard it again.

A friend of mine suggested using HRT, apparently you won't need the KY . Think that I am a bit confused. wink

Best thing you can use on seals is silicon grease (sparingly!), other petroleum based products will attach the rubber
