Time flies...

Anyone had this done and got any decent recommendations for quotes?

Anyone used JCT in Leeds? (I'm not near there, but the in laws are so could be viable).

Quotes thus far looking like between £800 and £1200 including MOT and all from main dealers...so a bit of a spread. Pretty sure I'll stay the main dealer route for the moment....

Had mine done at Works service back in August. Service and MOT was approx. £920, that included transporter collection.

my 7 year was just under £600 at an indy though. The £800 dealer quote is competitive . Not used JCT before but I know others who have/do without issue

Did that include new spark plugs?

Thanks fellas.

Original quote was 1140 including plugs and MOT. Currently looking at around 880 soup to nuts (if I went to Leeds I'd have a chunk in fuel to pay).

So a 250 quid or so saved just having a bit of a phone around and posting up here (call it 10mins work).

Will probably only keep the car another year or two, so keeping the main dealer stamps up seems wise (ish).

Will make no difference to resale price so long as you use a reputable Indy, sMurph - I had both smile

Btw, servicing at JCT was excellent yes

Try www.servicethecar.co.uk, it's brilliant, got a deal with grange to do my 7 year service, which includes the spark plugs.

Plugs are replaced at 70k miles so that won't be at 7 years for most V8Vs. Got my 7 year service done for £770 at my local main dealer (without plugs).
