V8V versus V12V - I have the definitive answer
Discussion
It doesn't matter at all.
Had a lovely drive this morning and ended up at the local pub. On the way I was let out of side turnings twice and pretty much as soon as I arrived at them and into the pub car park by a big white van that had no traffic behind it so could easily have gone past and let me pull in afterwards. As I pulled in front the three chaps in the front of the van gave me a thumbs up.
And lo and behold there was a V8V Roadster in the pub car park. Met the chap in the pub and he had had the same experience as me on the way (and was also out just for a blast with no particular place to go).
Left the pub and went to the petrol station to fill up. When I came out from paying a couple and their two boys came over and asked about the car. The boys had a sit in the drivers seat and pictures were taken, as did the mother. Dad played it cool and declined
The person waiting n the car behind also got out to have a look, although he could have got antsy because he had to wait.
So, V8 or V12? Who really cares. They are all beautiful cars to drive, to look and and to talk about to other owners or complete strangers. I had a lot of fun this morning, not only driving but also meeting some people that in any other car I would never have had the pleasure of meeting.

Well said Simon, Every time I get in mine there is always a sense of occasion. We have had the best year ever with trips out and foreign tours, nearly all of which have been in glorious sunshine. The JLC tour that you organised even though I was a passenger was marvellous, my heartfelt thanks go to you again.

Seconded......although the AM has now gone.... This year has to go down as one of my most enjoyable motoring years ever...
Lucky B, and me were only discussing the JLC tour the other day..... And we both have the same memories of what a great crack it was...... Something we'll both treasure being a part of, that's for sure....

It's got no cats, and 440 BHP, and hardly any silencing, so one can live in hope
.....I had a little drive in it the other night, and I can honestly say..... I was a little bit intimidated by it..... I've nicknamed it THUG..
Seemon,
Should we assume that your next update from the petrol station will be like that!
