Morning all.

I collected a MY07 V8 Vantage on Friday and was surprised to find it had no floor mats.
Before I look for a new pair, has anyone got any collecting dust that they would like to sell, please?

Interior is Obsidian/Phantom, but I will consider anything for now.
I'm in fleet, Hampshire - happy to collect locally or pay for delivery.

BTW - I don't know if it's bad form to put up want posts, so please let me know if that is the case!

TIA - Simon

Roadsters and coupes are different
If you have a coupe PM Robgt he has a set for a coupe.

I've got an aftermarket set in all black (black faux leather trim) for a V8V Roadster.

I currently have black cherry and wanted to see what all black looked like. Set a stencil of my OEM mats to a company and had them made. Quality is good for what I paid (about £80 from memory) however they have no heel pad.

If you can wait until after Christmas happy to send them down to you? Say £40 and I'll cover P&P.

The original mats are longer than over mats. If you have a bare floor then you will want to get a set of standard mats first then get over mats to protect the base mats.

Ah yes - it has the base mats over the foam.
I would just like overmats to protect the base carpet.

While on the subject, the drivers base mat has come adrift where it goes under the seat runners.
It looks like there is a cover plate held in by torx screws that normally hold the carpet still.
Does anyone know if I can just undo the 2 front screws and push the carpet back under?

I could also do with a workshop manual if there is a downloadable copy anywhere smile

The "base mats" are actually glued in and sit under the seats
They are fitted in the factory so are really part of the carpet set from the factory
I ended up buying a premium roadster set from carmats4u

I didn't see any glue on the drivers carpet - just where it had slipped out (been tugged quite hard) of it's fixings under the seat. The front edge (behind the pedals) has a large rectangle of velcro holding it in place.
The main live feed from the battery is under the foam.

The passenger may is held in place at the rear under a bolted plate. There is probably velcro at the front too, so that it can be lifted to get at cabling (and a fuse?) underneath.

Is there meant to be a (rubber?) mat on top of the carpet?

There is a rubber 'heel pad' on the drivers side.

Any other mats on top will be extra. rubber is usually more durable, but not so good at getting moisture off the bottom of your shoes..
