Greetings Ed. I think you're suggesting the plural of Astonaut should/could be Astoneers?

PS: Watch out for the icy patches this morning Ed.

A fellow Aston PH 'er calls us TOSSERS and I think that fits the bill admirably.
With exception of Molly, of course.

Well, seems to me 'Astonauts' works the best since it reminds of Argonauts. Now I need only change my name to Jason...

This subject has been debated quite recently on another thread and will probably never be resolved wink:

Not sure about the term for a collection of Aston Martins but I have trade marked the term Astonauts for a bunch of Aston drivers biggrin

That's brilliant!
The term has been in use for sometime now as can be seen from this forum quote from July 2012:

"After their driving adventure through Herefordshire and into the Brecon Beacons the Astonauts arrive at The Gliffaes to refresh themselves for the homeward journey (with afternoon tea on the terrace lick)

Meanwhile, sometime later, Tony (& Jamie) manage to round up the car at the back of the pack (Jockman):

Apparently Yeti lays claim to earlier use of the term 'Astonaut' (hi Lewis - glad you are still checking up on us wavey)- but can he prove it? scratchchin

You could introduce a Sean Connery angle and call yourselves Ashtonauts or Ashtoneers.
ETA: that's if the 007 reference doesn't make you cringe.

Too shubtle for shome. wink

Oh yes, welcome aboard,,,hope to see you at Rockingham on the 21st March where we plan to enjoy a day 'excercising' our Aston Martin muscles. It'll be the first time many of us have taken our cars on a track, so lots to learn. If you would like to join us, you can sign up on the Rockingham Track day thread.

I originated the term Astoneers many moons ago when setting up a local South East group meeting at the Woodman in Ide Hill nr Sevenoaks in Kent.

This later became nationally Astonauts.

Don't think it matters really whatever term is used..
