Good research is certainly wise, before buying an Aston Martin.
You did well to link the sale car, to the Monaco video.

The blue smoke from the rear of the car (in the video) does look rather worrying, particularly as it is not coming from the tyres.

Being amongst traffic, slipping the clutch (if that is what caused the smoke) seems totally unnecessary. Up with the clutch then power, not too difficult.
