Owning only the Aston & living in London i don't really need a second car/truck/etc. although on occasions i do think a 'winter toy' would be beneficial!

Wondering what vehicles people have in addition to their Aston(s).

(Happy New Year all! wink )

Depends where you live I guess and your family circumstances

For a daily driver I like to have large 4wd/estate, usually Range Rover/sport. I regularly do 400 mile round trips, airport runs etc in all weather so this suits well

and the rest are toys; couple of motorbikes, lightweight track car like a Caterham or Elise

I recently upgraded my daily drive to a 500SL Merc with the later 5.5L engine....very quick, very comfortable, lots of toys. The Merc is a mighty fine car. The family car is VW Touareg which has been faultless

Nick I think your luxury motor does not have a Landrover badge on it. My daily driver is a ford focus which with £20 road tax and 60 to the gallon makes my average consumption almost Eco friendly.

I also live in London; for going down to the shops, I use a cheapo bike and tie the shopping bags to the handlebars. I like to think I'm keeping it real.

Living on the outskirts of London, my mini personal fleet consists of.......

BMW X5 4.8iS - Comfy 5 seater, do everything almost anywhere, very well spec'd.
BMW 850CSi - Classic, powerful and very fast GT coupe, mainly hobby to mess with and show. Now supercharged.
BMW 330i Cabrio - General dogs body, shopping, runs to B&Q and the dump and dodgy area parking.
Yamaha V-Max - Mental 1200cc V4 Muscle bike
Yamaha Raptor - Mental 700cc Sports Quad bike.
Honda CBX1000 Turbo - 6 cylinder turbocharged road legal drag bike.

Mercedes Sprinter 316 - 100mph panel van that earns the money to pay for all the above.

Ford Focus 1.8 TDCi - currently on permanant loan to my son.
BMW 540i Sport - currently on permanent loan to my daughter.

Audi A3 2.0 TDI. Absolutely despise driving it. So unbelievably boring. I wish I'd just bought another S3 now and fk the money I'd be wasting on fuel.

Soon to be joined by a KTM 690 Duke R. More fun than anything I've ridden/driven on the road!

I just took delivery of a new Merc E350 sport cabrio. Nicely compliments the Vantage....totally different to drive and looks good....... but not even getting close to the special feeling of getting in the V8.

Like my hot hatches so have a Golf 2.8 V6 4Motion and a A3 3.2 Quattro, both good for the winter. Plus a Yamaha R6 for the odd sunny day.

I reckon a ice little M135i is on the cards to replace it
That should get me a 1000 BHP in the 3 car garage hehe

I've just bought a GT TDI Golf after realising (yes obvious I know) that my Vantage isn't going to be very practical during the winter months!

Molly has a Polo Blue GT which to date is really rather good. It replaced her 8 month old Polo GTI which had consumed over a gallon and a half of oil and required a replacement engine .

I have a Toyota Hilux 4 x 4 single cab Pick Up. It is now 11 years old and done 72000 miles. It is chipped upto the eye balls and romps past 100 mph. Despite regular abuse it refuses to go wrong or ever let me down. To date I have replaced the timing belt and the tyres, nothing else! The vehicle is amazing !
