Ok so I have owned my car about 4 weeks now and despite a few postings have managed to avoid the Pictures Police. I am however aware of the rules and can see lots of new owners submitting images!

Went for a blast today and took the camera with me. Below is my Meteorite V8V.

Regards to all
Mark

About time. We'll take your name off the picture police's "most wanted" list now.

Oh, and nice motor.... wink

You will have to become part of our newly formed Lancashire Any Excuse To Get Together And Go Out For A Blast Club. I was also out today enjoying the good weather,

Nice car!

It's gone mad in here, seems like everyone's buying Astons. And they say winter is a time of low demand.

Thanks for all of your comments guys. The car comes after 2 years of being sat with Grants book studying and trying to understand the marque.

This forum is a boost to ownership and represents a friendly knowledge base to help in those times of doubt. I have learned so much on here. So much so I didn't even panic with an emission service light 1week in !

I saw another silver Aston on the A59 today near Skipton. Don't know if it was anyone on here but he had the courtesy to wave back so that was great.

Hope to meet up with some of the members this year

That book has a lot to answer for.. I saw a vantage with a 6 bar front grill but 4.3l wheels and my wife thought I'd gone mad when I spent the next 3 hours trying to work out which was wrong..

Lovely car, but we're biased!

Cracking car Mark. Welcome to AM ownership . Our first V8 was the same colour as yours, very smart. Small point though, you need to get the front number plate lowered . smile

The first generation V8's are definitely the best looking, cleaner lines, less complex wheels, the first 1000 also high higher spec engines, better interiors....all my opinion of course
