It was pulled by the mods for being over informative,which could be considered to be advertising for the company that I was announcing as an exhibitor at Burghley.

It appears I may have been over enthusiastic with my journalism...................

I have requested a stay of execution but the jury is still out,even though it is all for charity,never mind it isn't as if said company doesn't get mentioned on here every
other post..........

Seriously I was only trying to keep people informed of whats shaping up for July to keep the interest high,if anyone knows how I can do this now without incurring
the Wrath of the Mods please be kind enough to let me know else its goodnight and thank you...............

But it was the secondary Burghley thread thats gone,the one that I was using to keep people informed of whats going down.

Yes,I understand the advertising rules and yes my enthusiasm may have ran away with it a bit but blimey I see what I would consider as advertising
on here most days that goes unnoticed.

I will have to rethink my approach as I don't want to get in any trouble over it.............

Tell you what would have been nice, if Pearl's doctor turned up with f.22 cabin valve switches to give out. If that were to happen, maybe Jonny 550's dentist could install them.

Dare I say yes,my over enthusiastic post was letting people know that Manual Exhaust Over Ride Switches where going to be fitted on the day at £50.00 a pop with all
proceeds kindly donated to charity.

Its the same service that the unmentionable has provided at Hever in previous years which has proved extremely popular.

I was asking if any one interested could let me know so that I could manage the program and keep the donator informed of numbers.

4 Guys managed to get there names down before the lights went out which has been noted.

I suppose anyone else could pm me if interested.

It was all harmless imo Bob,are people really that bothered.....................if I mention,whoops nearly did it again ,

I had to have some tablets and a lay down to get over the Blackout,my renown incredibly short fuse almost started fizzing you know .

Never mind worst things happen at Sea and all that,mind that ruddy great lump of Ice .

So for clarification its alright in a thread to say about a days event at a location, its alright to say that a company is going to be attendance but it isn't alright to raise money for charity.
If that is the case it has become a sad state of affairs on PH, I can understand no advertising for profit but to prevent money being raised is stupid.
All in my humble opinion of course.

It was nothing to do with the money for charity,it was my over zealous approach to advising people of the fact.

In essence I over revved it a bit to the discord of the sensible people in control .
