Full set of pads for V8V - £30% off.
Discussion
Eurocarparts are currently running 30% off service parts.
I just checked out to see if this included all pads and it seems to be so.
Just ordered front & rear (not handbrake).
List is about £430 - their normal price is £393
Using their code (chill30), this brings it down to £275 for both axles, with free delivery.

I did - but if you go to add 1 to the basket it says you need to order 2 for a pair of discs.
Some posters on here, have contacted ECP and they've pointed out the price disparity with AM and have been told its an error on the website.....Another poster was told it was price per disc........ I'd suggest that if your after some, contact them and ask the question

You may save even more

Does this price include new pin kits for the pads and sensors??? or is it just the pads on their own??I just checked out to see if this included all pads and it seems to be so.

Probably just the pads.
I'm pretty sure that is all you get with the AM pad sets as well.
Oh ok.... I know that when my pads were changed, the pad pis and sensors needed replacing at the same time... Not a huge amount extra..... I'm pretty sure that is all you get with the AM pad sets as well.
This is why I always leave it to the professionals....

So - your brake warning light was on then?
Or did the dealer change them because they thought they could just get away with it?
From what I've seen on this forum, the main dealers are wont to insist on a pad change when there is still 60% of the pad remaining. Sensors should only need changing if they have been breached, but it is an easy £50 plus fitting..
Pins are a moot point as technically they should only need changing when corroded, but better safe than sorry.

Yup, sensors only need doing if they have been activated.Or did the dealer change them because they thought they could just get away with it?

The 'rationale' for the 60% figure I believe is their inability to judge whether the pads will still be ok at the next service point, typically 12 months later.

If the brake light comes on in your instrument panel, then you will have to change the brake sensor. This is is because the sensor is a circuit and once it has been broken/warn away with the friction material of the original pad, the circuit is broken and the light will stay on - replace sensor.
If you change the pads without the brake light on and you are careful, then you have a good chance of saving the sensor but it can be brittle, and may possibly break when removing from original pads.
