A little bit tardy on my behalf due to an unplanned trip into hospital, however if you're nearby and free this Wednesday 15th January Ian Minards is giving another lecture to IMechE members and other interested parties on:

Vanquish Volante and V12 Vantage S: Two cars for the second century of Aston Martin.

The lecture will cover the key product content of each model and describe the way new technology is integrated into vehicle architecture.

For those that attended his last IMechE lecture a couple of years ago this is well worth the time and effort as in the breaks and afterwards you can get the chance to talk to Ian.

Lecture commences at 7:30 with tea and biccies beforehand.

Ford Technical Centre, Dunton, (note different address to last time)

Have a good evening.

I went to the one he gave in Birmingham before christmas on the same subject, very good talk and he gives away some of the thinking and reasons behind how they went about designing the two cars. Unlike some of the other ones I've been too, it's a technical talk, not a sales pitch!
