Given the choice between a 2013 DB9.2 Volante at £120K mileage 11K.....or a 2011 DBS Volante at £115K mileage 4K....which would you go for.
If nothing else I presume the DBS would hold it's money better.
I will be surprised if the majority will not say DBS !

I just love that DBS. Just a pity I can't afford one.
Very envious.

If I were in the market for an auto I would wait for the Vanquish Volante to get down to the sort of figures you mention cloud9

Me too I think, the DB9 is sufficiently hard-edged for normal road use.
While a more select car, the DBS may not necessarily be as rewarding all of the time.

Hello Avin,

Neither.

Perhaps consider an alternative. A delivery mileage Vanquish for £96,000.

Just have to take it to a 'back street' for a rear bumper. smile

It is white though, so you will never speak to George again.

Not everyone wants to modify their car... Plus it has the same power and more torque as standard.

Thats a toughee,,,,Going back 3 years, the car I was dreaming about was the DBS (I think I still do occassionally, weird). By the time I was ready to put down a deposit, early 2013, the new model DB9.2 was available. The new generation DB9.2 engine/performance, new exterior shape, interior and exterior options list, plus I could choose the colours of both, persuaded me to spend the extra dosh. Some very nice videos here: http://www.astonmartin.com/live/videos

BUT.....the DBS is and always will be just a bit special, innit.
yes

It's a tough one. The DBS will hold its value better I'm sure..... However if you're actually going to drive the thing then I think the DB9.2.....
