I noticed today that the rear offside light isnt working on my 2006 Vantage. No warning light on the dash though! I've checked the cluster - no moisture, no obvious loose connection, and the indicator and reverse lamps are working fine. Before I source a replacement unit....is there anything else it could be, or has it just given up?

Cheers

Cheers Tony - yeah, it's a red one. No brake lights at all so assume it's something central in the cluster's electronics...was just hoping there might be another explanation!

Probably better for you if it is the light unit. Easy job to change compared to a wiring issue. I'm having a similar problem with the wifes car (BMW) at the moment. If you buy a second hand unit, I've found you can polish the plastic fairly easily and get it looking like new.

Hi, yeah - I guess so! As the indicators and reverse light are working, I'm assuming the problem is within the unit and not with supply to the unit!
